None of these roles require you to join the Committee but a Committee member will be available to each group to provide help and advice as required.

OPPORTUNITY #1 SOCIAL EVENTS
In the wake of the successful Presentation evening held in January the Club is looking to expand the social calendar.
WHAT WE NEED TO MAKE IT HAPPEN
A team of enthusiastic volunteers to organise and co‐ordinate a small programme of social events (no more than 4) through out the year
OPPORTUNITY #2 PUBLICITY
The more positive publicity the Club receives the easier it is to attract, new swimmers, outside funding and sponsorship.
WHAT WE NEED TO MAKE IT HAPPEN
A small core of people who can provide reports of events they attend, especially the Junior Norfolk & Fenland Leagues, these reports will be for publication in the local press (Lynn News, EDP and locally targeted magazines) and on the Club’s website (www.westnorfolksc.co.uk/swim) In addition to these articles it would be ideal to provide some photographs to accompany them, therefore a volunteer photographer would be required. The photographer would be requested to undergo CRB (or equivalent) check and certain conditions will apply
OPPORTUNITY #3 FUND RAISING
The more money the Club can raise outside of training fees and membership, the better. We will be able to provide Extra training, maintain or replace ageing training equipment. We could even look towards replacing major items such as the scoreboard at Kings Lynn
WHAT WE NEED TO MAKE IT HAPPEN
A small bunch of people to devise imaginative, fun ways of getting money into the Club. You will also be asked to run the WNSC Fifty 50 club, software and Terms and Conditions are already written
OPPORTUNITY #4 TRAINING SQUAD MANAGERS
Sometimes there may be a need to inform a training squad of a temporary change or cancellation to their training routine
WHAT WE NEED TO MAKE IT HAPPEN
A couple of parents/guardians of swimmers from each squad who have internet access. An on‐line mass messaging tool will be used to enable you to pass on any required messages
OPPORTUNITY # 5 GALA TEAM MANAGERS
These volunteers will be asked to help run a team of swimmers at Galas such as Junior Fenland and Junior Norfolk Leagues
WHAT WE NEED TO MAKE IT HAPPEN
A group of parents who have internet access. Team management assistance will be available and training given prior to being set loose! An on‐line mass messaging tool will be available to enable you to pass on any required messages.
Individuals will be required to undergo CRB (or equivalent) check.
