St. James Swimming & Fitness Centre the premier swimming facility in the Borough of West Norfolk.
We have a 25 metre competition pool. The Pool was first opened in 1974 and has since had a major refurbishment in 1999/2000 with further changes since then.
What was originally just a pool now consists of several facilities: 25 metre, 6 lane competition pool
St James Swimming & Fitness Centre is located on Blackfriars Street.
The Centre is well sign posted from all routes in the surrounding area i.e. A47/ Town Centre.
The centre is located close to a number of transport / bus routes that run through the town centre to assist in accessing / reaching the Centre.
There are two
Pay and Display Car Parks (Multistorey and Blackfriars Street) located close to St James Swimming and Fitness Centre that are available for customer use. NB: These are managed by the Borough Council and therefore users of the Swimming Pool have to adhere to the published fees and charges.
